Hey guys, just bought a Mitsubishi Eclipse NT radiator from Fluidyne and 2 12" Flex a Lite Radiator fans. Question now is how do you mount the fans to the radiator. Do you have to order a fan shroud from somewhere or do you modify your own... thanks!

just the generic flex-a-lite fans or the mitsu specific ones? if they're the generic ones I think you have to get their mounting kit and throw away your fan shrouds or trim them to fit around. the generic fan mount kit has some retainers that pass through the fins in the radiator (doesn't hurt the radiator a bit)

Really didnt know they made a bolt up radiator shroud for the non turbo eclipses, all I saw were the 2g flex a lite radiator fans for the 2g turbo eclipse models. Here is that link:

Will these 2g turbo flex a lite radiator fans bolt up into a 2g non turbo fluidyne radiator? thanks for the input and reccomendations..

I guess my question is does the 2g turbo aftermarket FAL radiator fans w/ shroud line up with the same mounting studs as the non turbo fluidyne radiator. I mean after you open up where the U/L radiator hoses are on the shroud?

IIRC the mounts are a bit different because of the different location of the neck on the rad between the 420a and ght 4g63, so no the full fan doesn't work, sorry if I got you confused. I haven't mounted the FAL fans myself, I have Hayden fans in mine.

Confused? so the 2g turbo FAL radiator fans and shround solf by Flex A Lite cannot be used on our 2gN/T radiators without minor cutting with a dremel tool for th upper and lower radiator hoses.... I thought that the boats to attach he radiator fans to the radiator were the same.... Can someone clarify?
