Is I need to change my valve cover gasket this week, its starting to leak. I have spray degreaser from advance, would use this to clean up around valvecover just below it. I'm goona do this by hand just let you all know.

What exactly is your question here? If it is ok to use the degreaser sure, just dont use it INSIDE the head? Not sure what you are asking...

Just get some good brake cleaner. Dries fast and cleans well. Just don't spray stuff inside the head.
