About where on the temperature guage should my needle be? It is running about 1/2 way in between. I walked out into my garage after driving my car for about 10 min and it smelled hot! so i look under the hood and my radiator hose is about to Friggin EXPLODE! it is swelled up about 3 times as big. Any thoughts as to what may cause this. I was driving normally. No hard fast racing or anything.

you just need to replace that hose. the temps is fine, but the hose is old and degraded, thats what happens. they either just crack or swell up and then crack...

yeah I had the same thing happen, replaced it it hasnt done it again
I think the 420a is one of the hottest runnin engines I have seen
