103929, Different cam position sensor from 95 to 97? Posted by boosted4g64, Apr-17-07 11:27 AM
I replaced the head on my 95 with one from a 97 Sebring. Everything seemed to be the same except for the cam position sensor. The The new one has a different plug and I dont want to re-use my old one because it cracked by the bolt hole when I was taking out the cams. So can I simply clip the wires on the harness and solder them? I think thats my only options since putting epoxy on the old one will probably result in a leak. Thanks guys!

if you go to the dealership they have what they call 'pigtails'. It's the right style connector with a few inches of wire and you just solder it into the old wiring.

Luckily I got the "pigtail" with the new head since the just clipped the harnes. I just wanted to make sure they were compatible. Thanks
