I was just wondering if anyone knew of where to find cheap regrinds? I'm not looking for a monster profile by any means. Just something a little hotter than stock, without spending the $500 for new ones. Thank ya

Certainly not worth it, imo. The only cams that are going to net you any kind of noticable gains are going to require new springs and run you about $400. Crower2/Crane0016 or better.

actually based on my flowbench research with our cylinder heads and a bunch of cam cards, regrinds are the way to go.

By what extent and versus what? ROI? Raw flow? Versus a stock cam or a billet grind?

What are you talking about?
I tested our cylinder head at .100-.500 of valve lift. The point is to match port flow with valve lift, its not cam specific. Looking at most cam cards, there wasnt a lot of lift. Duration and overlap will need to change depending on if the cylinder head is ported, the compression ratio and where you want the peak hp and for what application. I noticed a big difference in flow at higher valve lifts with our head, with isnt always true in every case.
I have all the raw flow data, and converted it using a formula to CFM, of course this doesnt mean much without the test pressures and I used a few.

well mr turbo 8. Do you you sell regrinds? You mentioned "your head" does this mean you do head work on heads brought in, or offer a head? with a core perhaps?

dude, he is a respected member of the community, he used engine simulator software IMO desktop dyno, anyway it sounds interesting, can you post the graphs?

not sure what you mean by graphs, but if you want any of the flowbench data shoot me a PM. I don't have any desktop dyno or anything, but we do have a 4 wheel dyno here at our facility in Portland. I hope to smoke it with the V10 Talon :nuts
