This is the manifold I need help on. I've talked to Civic guys and they love it, I've talked to DSM guys and they say it's a hunk of crap. What do yall think?

There are people here that like it and others that don't, there are definetly threads on it though so before someone comes in and flames you for not searching I would like to politely remind you that there is a search function which is very useful ;)

I think the stocker transfers more heat than that one, If you port it to match the head, or visa versa IMO the gains would be good with a turbo (remember the maximum CFMS for a NA engine are different that a turbo engine) when your engine is turbo it will easily flow more air than the stock intake can be efficient for, my verdict is....turbo it might be useful, NA not really, it would be useful to know what the runners look like inside, its going to be a lot easy to smooth out the stock runners than it would be on that single piece design, getting it on when the engine is still in the car would be a challenge as well, getting the stock one off is a headache by its self.

I tried but it didn't come up with any threads that cover my question how I wanted. Thank you for not burning my tail. I think I'll just go with some projector headlight, or the dual piston calipers on a 3000GT. Those bolt up right? Stopping power is good. Thanks guys.

err yes and no
the VR-4 calipers do not "bolt up"
the late model SL calipers do, and they use Banjo bolts like we do
early model SL calipers have screw in fittings that have to be special ordered from RRE

i have a 99 eclipse an i also have a obx manifold for mine too but havent had it installed yet...where would the map sensor go on it??

The stocker is actually pretty decent. As said before, port it to match the head, and it performs quite nicely. And pretty much for free too...

I personally wouldn't waste the money, especially if its a car Im just gonna be fucking around in, not a serious race project. It's all about what you want dude.

You will need to drill holes in it down on the end and on the back, not worth it IMO.
I am only gonna use mines till the og comes back from EH and then I sell it for next to nothing but it won't be for a few months or at least till freight picks up.

I have one, got it real cheap off of a 2gnter here, you have to tap the holes for the map sensor, get an egr block off kit too, at least thats what I did. Installation was a big pain. i did feel a bit of a gain out of it, but had to wrestle with it to make the damn thing fit and bolt up.

Some are not even at all!! The one I have is not flush with the main body, when you look inside they tried but it's not made by a machine but hand made instead probably by Jimmy Crack Corner :)

The size of each are perfect but the mounting of the head/main body stinks! You can see that each was ground by hand.

From all the best I have seen they are tapered at the end to even the airflow but not the OBX It's just a big ol pipe with runners.
