103726, Jeep TB IAC questions Posted by DSMTalon, Apr-03-07 03:44 PM
ive ran into a bit of a hitch with my jeep TB install. seems that i made the dumb mistake of trying to use the 2gnt IAC to control the idle on my car... so i realized i had to use the jeep IAC, but i didnt have one. so i ordered one from satan (for a 98 cherokee) and the connector for the sensor is different. so i need a PN for the correct sensor that would have the same connector as the 2g. or failing that, how to get the pintles off of these sensors, since i have a 2gnt IAC sitting here. i tried twisting and pulling and the dumb pintle wont come off like metaljim says it does. suggestions? help? should i just put some dynamite in the mani and light it? thanks guys

it'll twist off. but you can just get one for a 94 cherokee with 4.0L engine. the plug is clock differently but will bolt right up and use the existing plug
