103690, socket size? Posted by xceler8, Apr-01-07 04:22 PM
Quick question, I have about 500 miles on the new motor now with only one problem. I didn't torque down the threaded stud that the oil filter screws to. What size deep socket do I need for this?
Thanks

I would hate to buy the wrong one now, anyone know for sure what size it is? 23 mm sounds close, I think I have one for my bimmer for changing the oil. Not deep though.
anyone know for sure?

I just ran out to the garage and checked, on my 95 block (I highly doubt it would change though the years), its a 24mm

Thanks a lot for going to check. I got a little over 500 miles now, doing an oil cahnge at about 6-700 I think and going to start into some more boost.
Peace-
Props to you my friend.
