Does anyone here have report to give on the above item.....i'm looking to do a N/A build and am wondering if this component will work well with 10.5:1 CR and a pair of Crane 016's
Any input????

Most def. The higher rev limit/advanced timing,etc.. is great for a NA buildup.
Just make sure you have upgraded valve springs, etc for the higher rev limits.. which you'd better anyways with the cams you have.

The AFX/R is a blast. It will spoil you.
1. As mentioned above, you should really have some upgraded springs/lifters with those cams, and to ensure you can make use of the higher redline. 2. This ECU is only for the 1997. If you have a 98, you will need to do some research into how/if you can make it work on your ride. 3. When I had this ECU on my 97 with 10.5:1, it was still pulling when the rev limiter kicked in. A good time.
Welcome to 2GNT. Try using the search like this: -Search for "AFX ECU" -Search the "Performance/Engine" forum (where this is moving) -Search "By Subject" (not subject and message)
That should get you all the information you're looking for in about ten minutes of reading.
Cheers.
