Posted by 95grayTsi, Feb-08-07 03:21 PM
my temp gauge in my cluster is seriously pegged way bellow cold for the last threee days, drove for 3 hours and it never moved? could this be a stuck closed thermostat, or a temp sensor, or is the gauge broken? any one know what else it could be or how to fix?

Check to make sure the wire is still attached to the sender on the thermostat housing in the engine bay.

Check the connection. Its the smaller of the 2 sensors on your thermostat housing. Quick fix if the sensor went bad.
