i have a question ,
In the throttle body there are 2 black long hoses that goes from right to left and one of them is connected to a small black box on the left side, but the other one is not connected to anything. Is that hose suppose to be connected to something?

There's a sticker under your hood that shows where all the vacuum lines go.
If you have a vacuum line with one side in the intake manifold and the other side connected to nothing, then you have a vacuum leak and your car is suffering from bad gas milage at the very least.

can that cause major damage or just waste gas?
