Car overheated again today. Driver's side fan is dead. Gravy. Need a new fan. Until then passenger side fan is jumped to driver's side fan's wiring harness. No problem.

Now the car won't start!

Fuel pump primes, I get voltage at the coil pack harness when cranking. Fuel pump and ASD relays are good. Fuses are good. If something could be wrong with either camshaft or crankshaft position sensor, there would be no voltage at coil pack harness--so that would rule those sensors out, correct?

I got a new coil pack but of course forgot that 95's are the old style connector, so I haven't been able to use it yet. Old coil pack's resistance was out of spec. I also replaced the spark plug wires, the car started, so I take her home. Car was cold when it finally started with the new wires. I get car home, won't restart. Rules out possibility of wires being bad (although the resistance was terrible on three of the old ones.)

I'm gonna dig some more after work tomorrow and also see if I can get a plug for that new style coil pack. On top of that I'll reinstall my CEL and do a keydance, see what the PCM thinks. Seems like a PCM/crankshaft sensor/campshaft sensor problem, but the multimeter says otherwise. I'm hoping it's just the coilpack.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

EDIT: Car is cold now and won't start. Guess it gave me one last start to get it home.

So............I put my CEL bulb back in to do a keydance, got a code 22 (coolant temp sensor/harness.)

Cleaned the connector and sensor prongs of all the corrosion. Car is thankfully back to normal.
