Hey guys I really want to test out my wideband o2 stuff before I put my turbo on to make sure that it is working properly. Is there any way I can in a sense "integrate" my Bosch wideband o2 sensor into the factory narrowband sensor? For instance, can I take the wires from the stock o2 sensor and splice them into the wires coming from the wideband sensor and still have the car run properly? Just wondering... thanks for reading this and I appreciate the input!

Drill a new hole, weld in the bung and install the Wideband O2 Sensor by itself.

FUCK lol, I don't have a clue as to how to weld and the kit comes with one bung, I know I'm a cheap ass I could always buy another bung but I really don't wanna deal with the trouble of taking the downpipe off and having to pay someone to weld the bung on. How much do you think a place like meineke or car-x would charge to do something like that anyway?

Some wideband o2 kits have a simulated narrowband output for situations such as this. It allows you to completely remove your factory narrowband o2 sensor and use a wideband o2 sensor, but you have to hook up the wire(s) from the wbo2 controller to the factory o2 harness.

You could do O2 on a stick if you can make the wires reach. You can put it on a clip/pipe/whatever to pick up exhuast out of the muff. Not quite as accurate but works. If that's what you are trying to do.

You could always get JB Weld if you really want, I'm debating it. I used it for my egt bung. Of course that's not under the car exposed to the elements, IDK how it would hold up under the car.

You can also look into this. Then you might not even have to get the bung welded in remove the rear o2 sensor put your wideband sensor in there and hook up the narrowband feature. This is only gonna work if it has a narrowband output though.
