ive cjecked relay on coil, cam and crank sensr, and it turns over fine, im not seing ne spark thru mie wires via the spark detector, when i took the plugs out they smell like fuel. if my plugs are dead, will i see any current thru those wires? why is it not sparking?

There is no relay on the coil. There is a relay on the firewall for the ignition, did you check that one? How did you check it?

You are smelling fuel on your plugs because you probably keep trying to start the car and your dumping all the fuel down there.

What kind of spark tester are you using?

i checked to see if im gettin +12 at the middle pin in the coil pack, and some 10 $ one from kragen, it worked on my other vehicle. could the relay be seingin +12 and the relay stil be dead? b/c i didnt check the ful relay i know theres a how to so i ll try that,

your not getting ANY spark out of ANY wire?

If your getting 12volts to the coilpack, and nothing coming out of it, I would suggest replacing the coil pack itself.

its a new msd one, ill check the relay then put the oem pack back on.

it turns and really really wants to start, i think with the msd wires they are to thick for that pos dector. i think its flooded b/c it turns over then almost starts then slows again. ne thoughts?
and i checked the asd relay is good

It doesnt matter if its a brand new coil pack. If you have 12v to the coil, and nothing coming out of the coil something is wrong.

Have you checked the cam/crank sensors?

is that with the key on engine off or while you are cranking it? test the voltage to both of the sensors while cranking...

it starts now, but now i have an exhaust leak at my header and a 1.2k idle, so i should adjust the TB cable?

It just randomly started up? You still obviously have something wrong, so I wouldnt go driving it around yet, lol.

i cahnged plugs, and it sputterd and i kept repeating then it sarted, died then started again, now it fires up fine, but it still ruff, and smoking a little, is that normal til the new head and everything break in?

k, so i searched, no real head break in, how do i tune the engine, i need to get the spark plugs gapped better, could that help with my idleing problem? it seems when my rpms are above idle it runs smooth tho?
