I have a 97 eclipse rs-t. I rebuilt my car with the forged pistons, rods, and upgraded valvetrain. I had a holley fuel pressure regulator and walbro fuel pump running my car before the rebuild. When I did the rebuild I upgraded to blue top 450cc injectors and a safc 2 and a sfmu . Now I wish I would have just left that crap alone. I've had problems with it running right and I don't want to f-up my car with the new engine. I'm thinking of throwing my stock injectors back on without the safc2. Now that I have an sfmu rather than my old holley fuel pump, I need to know what I should set my static fuel pressure at with stock injectors. If anyone could give me some info I would deeply appreciate it.

umm, I don't remember static, but idle should be between 47-55. Use the largest disc for the sfmu.

Ok, say if I wanted to run bigger injectors than stock like 310cc. What disc would I put in my sfmu? And would that lower my fuel pressure or would I still run the stock fuel pressure? See I want to boost higher than stockers can support safely, but, I don't want to go so big that the sfmu and injectors alone can't handle them.

310's the 2.72" disc with largest ring and dark spring should be just about right with idle fp around 20-22psi. You can also stay with the largest disc and no ring and a bleed valve. This is what I remember off the top of my head. Do a search for sfmu and 30# or 310's or 330's or even 440's and read up a bit you will find plenty of information, there are a couple threads in which people posted how they had their sfmu setup and with what injectors.

Also, if you have a -4an return line, you are probably not going to be able to get your idle fp down to 20-22 psi. I couldn't get mine under 28-30 psi until I upgraded to a -6an return line.

How much boost could I run with the 2.72 disc and ring before maxing out the injectors.

Oh and where should my afr be with this setup?

im running big disk no reing with bleedvalve and it works great for 30lb injectorw.

All I want is a temporary fuel setup without an safc 2 that can boost up to 10 psi without maxing out injectors for my car while I research and decide which megasquirt kit I want.

310s or 330's are perfect for this

not positive, but I think you wanna tune for 10.5:1 under boost, you should be able to find it with a quick search (hint, hint these are all pretty easy answers to find)

actually tune for 11.5 under boost . 10.5 is too rich
