basically my car idles like shit in the summer. the rpms fall down to like 400 and the car idles rough as hell. As soon as cooler weather comes around, the car idles fine...wtf? any ideas would be helpful

sounds like a bad IAT and/or poss bad CLT.

Agreed. I'd suspect CLT first. They tend to go haywire and tell the ECU your engine is running at -150* or something, so it's always trying to compensate for the cold. In the summer, when the hot air is less oxegen-rich (density), this can cause performance/idle issues. In the winter, the air is more oxygen-rich, so the AFR is a bit closer to where it should be.

CLT runs about $25 at Autozone. A quick search will give you more info on this subject. :thumbsup

CLT?...coolant temperature sensor? How hard is it to change? I'm at school so tools are limited. thanks!
