I just timed everything up and when the crank is lined up to TDC the timing marks are perfect, now when i rotate the motor 1 revolution the timing marks are off like a half tooth, but when i rotate them again, it is lined up perfect again, so it seems everyother revolution they line up, is this supppose to be like that or every time the crank is tdc they should line up, why would this happen?

Because there is spring pressure on the cams, and if your timing belt is loose, when you let off on the crank bolt, the timing belt may move the exhaust cam back a little. Tighten the belt so that you can remove and re-insert the hydraulic grenade pin without any resistance.

Assuming your belt tension is correct, each of the timing marks should line up WITH A STRAIGHTEDGE, THROUGH THE CENTER OF THE CAM BOLTS, as well as the crank timing mark being in the center of the tooth, while applying forward pressure on the crank bolt.

When you have the crank and the cams timed, they will only line up every 2 crank shaft revolutions.

so in other words, they will line up, after one rotation they will NOT after 2 they will after 3 they will NOT and after 4 they will????? is this correct

your cams only make 1/2 a roation for every crank roation. to make things simpler.
