100339, SFMU needed with SAFC?
Posted by Jacque766, Aug-08-06 07:46 AM
If im running 38lb inj, 255 pump, and a SAFC II on 5-7psi max boost do i need an SFMU or will the SAFC II be able to curve the fuel flow enough?

I have an SFMU lying around but never decided to install it because way back one member said it would be overkill for my set up. Is this the general concensus? I dont want to waste my time if its not needed at the moment. I dont race, its just a daily driver car.

Further, im not sure of my FP levels yet but is the SFMU pretty much the only way im going to be able to lower FP levels once I do have a guage to read the numbers?

Wow. Just Wow.

Sorry, I don't have time to answer all of these 'questions' that can simply be searched.

Like my god, I would have to sit here for an hour typing just to explain how easy these topics are to search.

Click the 'Subject' only button in the search. Then it only searches for dumbass posts with the same thing your looking to find info for. :shrug

EDIT: the sfmu shouldn't be just 'lyin' around cause your lazy. Hook it up. put the stock injectors back in. Only put the biggest disc in the fmu. Zero out the safc (for now so you don't blow your engine) Now go drive it.
