hello i have a 99 gs oz edition that i finally got my turbo kit in after 2 years. It ran great then when i was driving the oil line snapped and i was unaware and drove the car a few miles until it stalled.

Now i took everything apart got it all cleaned up and when i put it all back together and tried to start the car all i got was a click no turn over at all. Then i tried jumping the car and i got it to turn over for a few seconds but no start.

I changed the starter and still the same a mechanic told me that the motor is ceased but i dont c how when it turned over and the belt was spinning and everything if neone has ne ideas please let me know.

quik way to find out. put it in neutral and put a wrench on the crank sprocket. see if you can move it. if not, you're locked up

Exactly. The term siezed refers to the piston sticking to the cylinder wall and refusing to move any further. If you can manually turn the motor over by hand, then it is not siezed.

Now, you likely have serious issues from losing oil pressure, so tell us exactly what you took apart and reassembled prior to this point. Thanks.

i only took the turbo and the intake and exhaust manifolds off to clean the engine then i put in a new feed line and got everything back together when i get the car back from the mechanic i am going to try and drop the oil pan and check the crank and everything and then take out the plugs and pour some oil directly in the cylinders then try to turn it by hand.
the crank sprocket is under the timing cover and is the bottom one right never really looked at it before.

Generally what can happen in the case of oil pressure loss for an extended period of time is that your bearings will seize up. Rods will normally cause knocking noises and mains will normally cause seizing. Need to take her apart to check, Drop the pan and look for metal flakes. You can access the rod bearings from there. Drop the rod caps and see what the bearings look like. You can loosen the mains to see if you can make the crank turn.

But any way you slice it, I would say you are going to need to pull the motor and rebuild. Sorry, oil is the life blood of your engine.

Just make sure when you decide to put the rod caps back on, you put them on the way they came off!
