hey guys new here first post but anyways. im gonna be buying a 95 eclipse rs tomarrowi think, with a header intake an a catback but has a plug in the first o2 sensor bung and the check engine light is obviously on why is that and will it hurt anything? why wouldnt they just put the stock sensor back in...

I cant believe it even drives normally. It would buck really bad and run rich as hell I would believe. They took it out probably to get some enourmous hp gain (ya right) or just because they are probably some hillbilly's. Get yourself an o2 and put it in there!

My friend didn't have his front O2 sensor put in for a while because he had to get his downpipe finished and it ran OK, just rich.

If you have yet to buy the car, I would let the people know to put one in and then you will come back and re test-drive it and then you will make a decision.
