For a stock piston / rod set, you need a press. You'll probably ruin the piston in the process.

Stock pistons and rods are sold as a unit, and typically are replaced as such.

Most aftermarket (JE/CP/Wiseco) have a wire wrist pin lock on a groove on either end of the floating wrist pin. Pop it out with a screwdriver.
