The saginaw fitting is for power steering lines with an o-ring type seal. I would not du that even though the stealth guys are going it. You chance of leaks is very good. Considering gas tank is not far from the exhaust......that could be a real bad idea and half assing it is not worth it.

I spent months looking for a clean way to convert to -an off that fuel pump inverted flare fitting, with no luck. I bought that Earl's saginaw fitting after coming across that site, but felt uneasy about the seal. With other ways to convert, I agree that the saginaw should be left alone.
