I've gone over the numbers time and again, but it just won't work out to have everything I wanted to have done to the car done in time to leave, so I'm revising my plan to make sure that I make it to Norwalk for the Shootout. So yes, I will be there, but it looks like Daisy will be sporting a race head with stock cams and only minor other mods. I have to get some stuff fixed to make sure she's ready for a 6,000 mile road trip imo.

Basically, I'm going to have a little over $700 to do $2500 worth of mods. It's pretty disappointing, but goddammit, I'll be there getting my drink on with everyone else. Expect Daisy to be coming of age sometime before Thanksgiving imo. I may just run 14s in El Paso and then 13s for Christmas. ;)

Uber will be coming but most likely not with Pika or KS. Making the trip close to nonstop by the Doc.

Shitty. You must feel bad after ramming it down our throats for months that she was going to be the fastest all motor 2gnt and first in 14s. Oh well, maybe next year? Keep at it :thumbsup
