Gas = take in account how many miles you drive and what your miles per gallon is

Hotels = in norwalk and on the way there

Food = good

Other = as previously stated ;)

As far as budgeting teh monies:
13gal of gas per tank (before the light comes on) at $2/gal = $26/tank.
2000miles to Norwalk/400miles per tank = 5 tanks at $26 = $130 on gas *2 (since you have to go home afterwards) = $260 for gas each car out of Phoenix. This kind of math makes sure there are extra miles to be had per tank and extra dollars in the wallet to buy extra if needed.

One room at $75/night at the Norwalk Inn * 4 nights (Thursday - Monday) = $300+tax for a room.

Then you have to figure food and hotels along the way, but I think we in AZ are going to try to get an RV and crash in it on the road and enjoy the luxury of a hotel while we're in Norwalk.

Anywhere around here, Maryland is between 1.52 and 1.68 a gallon for premium. If that's like anywhere else in the country, then you'll save a bunch on gas if you budget out 2$ a gallon. Free money.

gas in indy right now is like a 1.54 for premium and that is expensive. :-) i am looking forward to when premium dips back down to 1.39.
