I have a spare trans I ended up with that has a demolished bell housing due to and exploding clutch. Looking to inspect the internals/remove the shafts and clean the inside. I just want to be sure none of the bits got inside or damaged the gears. I don't think any metal made it into the case, but the bell housing was the only thing damaged when the clutch went from the looks of it... There was only one small hole going into the case, but all I need is a new bell housing and hopefully all will be good. There are a couple of pics with what looks to be some slight damage to the gears, but I don't know enough about transmissions to know the extent of it. Anyone care to chime in? I've rebuilt several motors, but am completely new to transmissions, so please point me in any direction that will help. I'll ad some pics here soon.
