903, Got my NewSkool LSD here on my desk... Posted by Matt_95tgs, Jun-25-03 10:07 PM
Well, I just got back from my honeymoon today to find the remainder of the parts that I need to put my car back together. I gotta say that my initial impression of this unit isnt the greatest. I got the revised version, not the one that Jason got. But... hey, if it works great, who gives a crap if its ugly right? I'll be interested to see how this thing holds up to 300+ hp on the street. I figure if I toast my diff, then it just gives me a good excuse to buy something else right?...;)

1000, My opinion Posted by Michael_97RS, Jul-14-03 12:28 PM
Hujjat just got one, we installed it yesterday.
The new design... looks like it was done to be made cheaper, not for any structural concerns. It doesn't look as good as the earlier models I saw pictures of.
And after a broken zip tie, the install because very interesting. A c-clamp, a twisted piece of wire, compressing one end by hand and beating it in with a hammer. I was going to spend the $150 in it because the price was so much better than the Phantom Grip. But after seeing it in person, I think I'll look into my options, I was not impressed.
