I know there are two bolts one for draing the oil and one for puting in,but how much oil will it take in? Also when done how tight do I have to tightnen the bolts?

Drain it from the Bottom plug and then replace the plug. Fill it from the top plug until the oil starts over flowing out of the hole (Usually 2.2 Qtz). Tighten the plug to about 25-30 Ft. Lbs of torque.

I don't have any air pressure tools to tighten the plug so I'm just going to go get it done at a shop.

ALWAYS remove the fill plug first, that way if you can't get the plug off then you haven't drained the fluid first. Also, the way I do it is remove the fill plug and remove the reverse sensor, then remove the drain plug and drain all the fluid, then install plug and fill with a funnel through the reverse sensor hole. Then we it comes out of the fill hole cap it off. then reinstall the reverse sensor your done. Pretty damn easy job.

There is only one bolt, and that is the drain. The fill port is a rubber plug, but I find it easier to fill through the reverse switch hole.

There is no fill plug fastener. So I am not sure what torque spec you are providing here.

Air/pneumatic tools are never used to torque a fastener to a specified value anyway, so I this is irrelevant. If you want to torque to a specific value, use a torque wrench.

What type of trans fluid do I use? i know its 2.1qts.

Mopar ATF+4 or NV-T350 transaxle oil from the dealer. The latter can be pricey.

When I did mine I just bought 2 quarts and moved on. I wasn't going to worry about the .1 difference.

...and yes it's 10x easier to fill through the reverse sensor.

Oh okay thanks, yea i read that its easier to put it back thru the reverse sensor so on my manual trans i can put mopar atf+4?
