i think it said in one of ur other post u took it to get rebuilt if so have them install it. Because u are going to have to seperate the tranny to install it. As far as installing it its not to hard the main problem i had was putting bellhousing back on the tranny its a biotch

Yes, it's a really easy install. Just make sure and have a sturdy punch to knock out the retaining pin, and follow my recommendations as far as mating the tranny halves back together here: http://forums.2gnt.com/dcboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=34&topic_id=748&mesg_id=807
Also, don't forget to buy the differential pin safing brackets. It's all described very nicely in this VFAQ:http://www.scecnet.net/~neonneon/neon/gripinstall.html

Dude, relax. It's ALL in the VFAQ link I posted above and they're at any Chrysler dealership, if you bothered to look at it. Noone will have them in stock. They'll order them for you and they'll be in, in a few days. Either that, or buy them from Bob Kies at Forum Dodge and he'll ship them to you at a favorable discount. (mention "2GNT" or "Neon.org")
Here's the excerpt from the VFAQ I already posted: (including part numbers) :rolleyes
Update - new part released from DCX. Though it's obvious they aren't intended for the Neon trans, these diff pin brackets do work with a slight modification. You need to cut off about a half inch form the top of the "ear" on each one. If you do NOT do this, the ear will wipe out your driven speedo gear rendering the speedo non-functional. Part #04800059AA, you need 2 per differential. List price is about $4.20 each.
