Is there a clutch I can get that doesnt need a break in period?? BTW, I have the hrc stage 2 kit, but possibly going stage 3.

All brand new clutches need to be broken in. Just taking it easy on the cluch, and low rpm slipping when getting into first gear is best to break it in. Its pretty much like brand new brakes, you take it easy on them,until the metal surfaces wear together properly.

I had to, as when it was new, it was hard to slip at all, and would chatter, just wanted to grip like all hell. The clutch builder at Clutch Dynamics said the clutch needed to be broken in( I have ceramic 6 puck). This is just going by what he has said(he's one of the best clutch builders out there IMO). If you dont go easy on it at first, i suppose there may not be any long term harm done, but dont quote me on that.. Whenever there are two frictional surfaces that are new, they need to wear in together properly, for full performace.

What is the average break in period? How many miles? Highway or City?
Just curious becuase this is my first m/t car, and never had to change/break in a clutch.

Of course there is a breakin period for the clutch, i'm just saying you don't need to baby it around, or change your driving style, for it to wear properly. They aren't designed to slip, and they're grippy by design. On an organic disc, yeah, it'd be nice to it for a while because they're designed to have much more slip, but ceramic puck, no. I'd just drive the thing.

Average break in is 500 city miles

when I was breaking in mine I never shifted past 3000 RPM's....when I was very first breaking it in I was doing it at 2500rpms'...
