So some of you know that i recently blew my tranny apartfrom the dif pin breaking and "venting" my case. So i got a new recently rebuilt trans and got it installed and everythings good so far. Now im worried about drag racing and luanchin the car. How many times can you luanch the car before the pin breaks again? Also can you use a LSD insert from 4g63 or other trans?

If you don't want to get a Quaife or can't find one of the few retrofits out there (I bet there's maybe 6 or 7 left out there right now - and I'm not selling mine), your best bet is to put the diff pin savers in there, They are little "tabs" that bolt onto your diff and help to keep the pin from forcing its way out. Search around a little on the site and you will come up with the part number. I put them into the daily when I did the tranny (bought it with a bad tranny) and I have beaten the crap out of it on the track.

TBH I wouldn't even put an LSD insert in my car. The way I see it is, if you don't want to put a true LSD in there, don't put anything in there at all.
