775, adjusting peddle, already tried under dash Posted by eclipticrider, May-31-03 05:46 PM
ever since i got my spec stage 3 cluch in the peddle was always at the top... i've tried adjusting it under the dash there but that didn't help any!!
any advice guys?? i've been told to A> change the clutch lines to braided lines B> blead the clutch (which i've heard of so many ways to do it) i dont know why it's so high... btw i don't know much bout transmission stuff but i don't think my clutch was installed properly when it was put in...
any ways..
thanks

We've discussed this here.

It works. Just keep adding spacers till you get the pedal to release the clutch where you want. You do have a limited amount of space to work with.

Rather then spacing the slave cylinder out, I would cut the slave cylinder actuator rod a little bit. This should directly affect the pedal engagement point. -=B-=
