I have a 96 with a manual tranny and i need to know the location of the output speed sensor.....the speedo stopped working and many have told me that this is typically the problem....so any help on where to locate it would be very helpful thanks guys

It's on top of the trans toward the firewall under the battery tray. It has one 10mm bolt (if I remember right) that holds it in the trans.

Please remove it carefully. Knock off the plastic gear will ruin the rest of your day. Remove when cold of course.

All 4cyl Avengers, Sebrings, 2GNT Eclipses, Talons, and (i think) DOHC Neons use the same speed sensor.
