I ordered a perfection clutch made by zoom from Summit about 3 months ago. Unfortunately, I found out today I picked the wrong one, its for the 4G63. My question is about the 420A clutch. The stock clutch is modular, correct? Its like one piece that bolts right to the flywheel. Will I either have to get another modular clutch, or get a clutch kit that has a flywheel with it?

Something like 90% of 2GNTs have a modular clutch assembly. Disk, pressure plate, and flywheel are all encased in a one-piece unit. In fact, if you have access to it, it's one of the easiest things to remove or install on the car. It takes more effort to open a beer.

If you're mostly stock with no intentions of serious power for at least a couple years, just go with something stock. I ran a PTcruiser clutch for a while just fine. It was about $175 three or four years ago.

You might also call up South Bend Clutch and see what they can do for you. I'd stay away from the Centerforce Dual Friction job, but others say differently, so YMMV.

Fixed my previous link and yes, that's the one. I've heard way to much good about that one over the years, Guys actually throwing consistent boost at with no problems.

Does anyone else have this clutch? I was just wondering how it felt, it feels like there is much less resistance from the clutch pedal now. Like, almost none at all, but the clutch doesnt slip. That sound normal?

Yup, like a lot of the aftermarket clutches out there, for some reason the clutch feels even lighter than stock.

Most aftermarket clutches have a more efficient pressure plate design that requires less effort, it feels weird but they actually hold stronger. unless you're planning on making 500hp and running a stage eleventybillion clutch. then they better break your shin every time you go to shift.
