So i get a members trans delivered to me to inspect a ticking in 4th gear. Only happens in 4th gear so it should be too bad of a fix with a handful of spare parts I have. Worse case is I replace all of 4th gear right? Yeah right.........

This cant be our issue but it cant be good either!

Thank god I had 2 spare input shafts and 1 spare output shaft.

Wow. I'm glad we have you here man b/c I wouldn't know the first thing about tearing open the trans. I do wish I lived closer to ya so we could have gone through that together just for the learning aspect. At any rate I'm glad I stopped beating on it when 4th started clicking and didn't grenade it further. This makes the 3rd time I've had some level of trans failure but I guess things could have gone much worse so I'm not too pissed. When you make SICK power you break shit :)

Yeah, thats the type of bar you want to make pulling the drivers side easier. That one is about 2.5 feet long. They are usually sold is sets of 4, its worth buying the set.

I'm a-ok with easier. I fought with that whore for a solid 45 minutes before it released. I was a little irritated with it to say the least.
