i installe dmy DSS stg 5s into my quaife, and im not totaly convinced they are seated all the way. i can pull and theres a little play, but they wont pop back out, so i assume they are in all the way? theres like a 1.4 or 1/2 inch gap between the axle seal and the axle bulk?(im not sure what its called, but its the big chunk of metal on the axles) heres a pic of the distances.
also if they arenot seated, when fluid went in it would leak right?

and its 3qts of ATF-4 right?

I have the cheaper DSS axles and mine stick about that far out of the transmission.
