Well I finally obtained one of the most vital parts for my swap, the transmission. I was able to get it for $350 which may seem pricey for some of you here but junkyards around NC seem to be only offering them for $600 and above so $350 was a good price. It has 180k on it BUT it is rebuilt, I made sure it had all of the MTX plugs and rear bracket (which they almost forgot) so I won't have to go looking for them later on. The first thing I did was drain that 90 weight gear oil out (probably reason why they had to rebuild it in the first place) to get it ready for the Mopar fluid, lastly I cleaned it up a little so it wouldn't be all greasy. Here are some pictures, feel free to give any input, and oh yeah, can someone tell me the size of the bolts that hold the rear mount bracket on the tranny? Thanks in advance, sorry for the long post.

What I think may work, would be to remove the hex bolt from the above picture. The one with the circle with a line in it. That also holds a tranny mount bracket onto the tranny. Put some oil on it and try and thread it into all 3 holes for the rear bracket. If you are successful, then go on a hunt for that length and thread pitch in a high grade bolt preferably 10.9. This is a stretch, however it just may work.

The bolts aere the same as pointed out above. Remove one of the bolts that you will need a 14mm wrench for and go buy three new ones at a hardware store.

it looks like one of the axle seals has a chunk out of it. id save some future headaches and go grab some new seals from the dealer.

Alright thanks, I'll match those bolts up at Lowe's, the axle seals will be replaced along with some others. :D
