Hi, can someone point out the rear transmission mount bracket to me? I want to know what it looks like when I pick up my transmission Thursday so I'll know it's there. Here is an NVT-350 picture (not mine, picture off ebay). Thanks in advance.

The large black bracket closest to the upper right corner of that pic is the bracket which bolts to the rear mount. Not to be confused with the shifter cable bracket, which is on top of the case with the two "C" shaped notches cut out.

The mount closest to the viewer of that pic is the driver side mount, which would be under the battery tray.

Green=Front mount bracket
Blue=Side/Top mount
Red=Rear mount bracket

I don't know the condition of the tranny, however if it is used you may want to look into changing the axle seals. They are inexpensive and with the tranny out, they will be alot easier to get to and replace.

axle seals are much easier to do out of the car.
as long as its out, id grab a 1G SS clutch line from RRE to replace the rubber thingy and do the cluth mod.

other then that :shrug maybe a new Throw out bearing and check the condition of the clutch.

hell just throw 2 quarts of NV-T350 fluid in there and see how she does

I agree but I wouldn't do the clutch mod personally those engineers put that resistor in there for a reason!

Alright, appreciate the help. I have a brand new master cylinder, brand new slave cylinder w/ restrictor mod done.:) I will be replacing axle seals, rear main seal, and output shaft seals, and filling it up with the dealer nvt-350 fluid. A brand new clutch w/ new throw out bearing will be installed as well.

yeah and when you tell them you have a 2gnt they will pull the 1G clutch line, the 1G is a single 12" hose that is replaced, same as ours. the 4g's have the 2 piece lines.
