6243, Shifter assy. Is this correct? Posted by 420aSebring, Mar-23-07 11:06 AM Alright I'm in the process of doing my 5 speed swap, I've searched the forums and found one post asking about the shifter spring and decided to use that as a guide, for some reason I'm not sure if I installed the springs and everything the right way. Here's a picture, does it look right to you all? Thanks in advance. | |

6257, RE: Shifter assy. Is this correct? Posted by jshillin, Mar-29-07 06:31 AM I guess you figured out the springs go on the outside and both metal tabs go in the middle. Be sure to put some loctite on that nut. | |
