I drove John's (grain) and his pedal was not a whole lot different than my stage 2 custom clutch. It was not a heavy pedal. If you take the restrictor out of the slave you might see a difference but not much.
The actual engagement is what you will notice. I noticed right off the bat that john's doesnt slip much (Fast engagement) and you have to be careful you dont kill the engine.

Though I hate spec (as most know), my stage 4 felt the same way. I even did the clutch mod to it and it stayed pretty much soft as stock. BUT when it was engaged, it was engaged! I NEVER had a problem with it slipping. Even when it was a rattle bag of noise and could not speed shift, it held like glue (and was still soft as stock). I had a spec 2 non modular for back up, and it felt the same way (and is now making the same noise x( ).
