Imagine this, Mark...

You're under the car looking up at the transmission; not the bellhousing, the actual transmission. You can see inside. You can see it all. You can see the differential just sitting there wondering the same thing you are, "Just what the fucking hell happened?"

Total carnage. There's no fixing that, imo. New trans time. Looks like the engine bay is mostly stock. Did we not have any fluid? Did we have the wrong fluid in for too long? Did the VSS fail and get pulled into the diff, pulling half the electrical harness along with it?

I mean, that's just gnarly, man. :eek :brokeoff

Holy cow...tranny carnage that sounds worse than the pics I've posted during my two explosions this year.....FIX THE PICS

You can see them all here. Yes the engine bay is stock, I just bought the car, exactly how it is, except for the suspension, exhaust, and basic other crap that was broken when I bought the car. ok so what happened.... In the first picture of the carnage, you can see my diff. pin. The first thing that I found on the street in the puddle of Mopar's magic manual trans. fluid. Well the diff pin basically flew out at about 2500 rpm's and took everything with it. The kid that owned the car before me beat the bag out of it. Well anyways enjoy.

P.s. in picture 23 of 29 you can see the elongated hole.

Dude. Coming from Dino, that's pretty bad. You should take that diff pin and do one of two things with it, imo:

A) Make it into a gnarly keychain for the car, or
B) Get a slingshot and fire it through the asshat's window. ;)

I was thinking either necklace or thing to hang from the mirror. But keychain might work. If I decide to do anything with it I'll post pics.

Actually I did tap the gas to chirp the tires before. Oops. I am glad about one thing. I can tell the wife that I messed to engine up also (she is clueless when it comes to cars.) so now I have to rebuild. LOL

Alright! the diff pin takes another victim, mine blew out in the summer. I could actually see though the transmission. Blew out the entire bottom under the differential, broke the final drive gear teeth, and the bellhousing was scrap. And it sounded awesome as i watched parts fly out from my car in front of me, i was headed to the track too. Oh well make sure you weld the next one in, at least thats what i did.
