Does anyone have any suggestions on what brand modular clutch I should buy for a 95 n/t with some mild upgrades and has anyone used one of the Ram clutches from summit racing?

I've heard nice things about the PT Cruiser clutch for lightly modded cars. It's essentially a stock replacement made for a dcar that has a 30ft/lb higher torque output.

It was a good clutch. I'm sorry I blew the rest of the tranny straight to hell. I'd recommend it to anyone putting down less than 200whp.

Thanks guys now I just need to know what year pt cruiser will work cause when I went to chrysler parts direct there was 2 different prices. One was for the 01-02 and then the rest. Also do I need the pt cruiser TOB? Last but not least when exile racing says clutch comes with new flywheel do they mean flexplate or the surfaceplate that the fictionplate uses? I called them and got answering machine, left message and got no return call.

The flywheel bolts to the crank and is what the clutch grabs. It is like a flexplate, but flexplates are for autos and flywheels are for manuals.

Nate buddy on my car a flexplate bolts to the crank because I have a modular clutch. A modular clutch is a 1 piece assembly including the pressureplate, frictionplate and whatever you want to call the other plate that on a traditional clutch is on the flywheel. This is why exile racings ad is confusing because I do not have a flywheel and their ad is for a modular clutch. 2nd day and still no call back.

The clutch from Exile comes with a new flywheel assembled to the clutch as opposed to a resurfaced flywheel sent to spec to be assembled in out of their custom clutches.

You recieve the modular unit from Exile.
