5225, clutch fluid color

This is a picture of my clutch fluid resevior. I think the clutch fluid is darker than it should be.
I had my master, slave, and lines replaced a year or so ago because it was full of some dark crap and wouldn't shift.

Is this darker than it should be and why would it get like this?

It's really brake fluid dude. It's not compressible but it does absorb moisture in the lines and degrades over time. Thats not THAT bad looking. It looks a little full but if you not having any problems I wouldn't worry about it.

BTW: when it goes in. it's clear :)

Yeah, I know it's brake fluid. I was worried I had a problem since it was so dark after a year. I guess I won't worry about it unless my clutch starts to act funny.

Thanks.

Bring it to the meet Eric, we can force feed it backwards from the bleeder with new fluid.
