I just bought a '98 Eclipse 5spd with 90,000 miles on it. I have only had the car for a few weeks and now within the last week when I am cruisin down the road in 5th gear it will just randomly popped out of gear and I have to put it back. Sometimes it will pop right back out again but then others it will not do it again the rest of the day. It happens alot when I am cruisin on the interstate around 80mph. Does anyone know what could be wrong with it? I think that my warranty from the dealer covers tranny but I'm not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the forum, in the performance section at the top is where the tranny issue ?'s go, searching each section or all of 2gnt will reward you with probably most any answer.......I will give you a few post's to reference to help you along till this post is moved to the right section or put in things seen before.........good luck man, car issues suck imo glad I don't have any :P
