i know other ppl have the same prob too. when the weather gets cooler out its harder to shift smoothly into gear. sometimes its real bad. the clutch feels lower to the floor in cold weather too. but if i adjust it then when its warm it will be too high again. what causes this?

Same reason why your oil pressure is high when you start the car cold - cold oil is very thick and dense. it also doesn't flow well. Think about it.

You won't be able to adjust the clutch anyway, it's hydralic.

ya u can . i do it all the time due to weather changes . it adjusts on the pedal mount. u loosen the 12mm bolt and turn the pushrod left or right. . works well but i shouldnt have to be messing with it all the time.

If you have to "mess with it all the time" then you probably have a master or slave on its way out. In the six years i've had my car, i've removed the clutch restrictor once and replaced my clutch four times, but i've only adjusted the pedal one time. Keep that in mind.

my car is quite the opposite...my car becomes very difficult to shift on hot days, or when the car has been running for 30-45 minutes.

any ideas?

don't know bout the hot weather, but it is possible for your pedal to go a little lower in cold weather because the fluid condenses in the cold, but if it is noticable at all then you probably have a problem like master cylinder or air in your lines
