4157, t/o bearing still making noise

just installed a new clutch and t/o bearing, and low and behold i still have that awfull noise at startup. the noise goes away after the car is warmed up. would a brand new bearing still make this racket? what else could be causing this?

If it's not mounted in the fork correctly, it'll rattle no matter how new it is.
