3942, LSD Posted by GhostintheNight, Jan-24-05 08:13 PM
Alright, come this summer, i'm going to have to change out my clutch... i've been hammerin on my car a bit and i can tell its startin to wear. So my plans are, when i do that, i'm going to change my clutch , get a lightened flywheel, and put in a limited slip differential...
Now i guess i was looking for some simple advice on the LSD... like what to look for in a good unit... or even IF they're recomended to put in... (which i wouldn't see why they wouldn't be good to put in) ... other stuff like if they're difficult to install (which i'm assuming they are)... anything....
Got any advice?

If you can tackle a tranny rebuild, then you install a LSD.

yeah, i heard those were the best, but also the most expensive... but hey i suppose you get what you pay for eh? So what exactly makes this LSD module considerably more expensive than those Phantom grip type deals
