3683, question about the hydraulic clutch fluid (leak?)
Posted by talonguy2005, Dec-31-69 06:00 PM
well, my clutch has 140,000 on it, and i was wondering cuz my clutch seems like it is engaging really harshly, so i looked at my hydraulic clutch fluid level and it was almost completely gone, so i was wondering if that happens while the clutch gets older, cuz i have never seen any of that fluid leak from my car? so is this normal with the wear of the clutch?

It may be a leak in the Master...look under your dash to see if you can find a leak on your rug or leaking down.

Then go to the slave on the tranny and inspect that also.

If you have no leakks fill er up and try bleading see what happens.

If you go to a shop with a vacume bleeder they will tell you if you have a leak in the lines.

Thank you that's all. :thumbsup
