3671, How strong is the NV-T350 Posted by ForceFed420a, Nov-22-04 04:00 AM
Just a basic question. How strong is it? I've searched, but nobody has a definate answer.
Also, when going to high HP and torque, my buddy said to replace the diff with like a quaife or phantom grip. Necessary? What else should be replaced?
Thanks! Brian

you should look at the 2gnt site.
head over to the FAQ section and then the MT section.
The PG is a slip on/in unit, it uses your stock diff. The only weak part about the stock unit is that the pin likes to back out.

Around 500HP, you start shearing teeth off the ring and pinion. Before that, the only weak link is the diff.
