3606, Drivetrain Whining Noise?

I am getting a whining noise from the drivetrain :/ Like a train or something, wtf. It's not too too loud, but seems to be getting louder, but i dunno... I could be going crazy...

The tranny is a neon tranny, I havent put many miles on it. The only thing i have done there is drop the tranny, replace rear main, reinstall tranny, fill w/ the correct mopar fluid....

It doesnt make the noise very much in decel, very lightly, and none in neutral. All gears shift just fine, never missed a gear, the front of the car is soo quite that the drivetrain is the only noise I hear. And the exhaust is pretty quiet now, after installing a resonator, so maby i can hear it more that the exhaust is quieter?

I think i would have noticed it before though, cause with the radio off its annoying to listen to it, you can hear a little exhaust in the back, and nothing up front other than the sound of the drivetrain somewhat whining... hmmmmm Any Ideas?

Now the speedo is working sometimes, and not others. And jumping around like its doing aerobic exercises. Dino thinks it's just the connector, so I am gonna check into that, just wanted to add it since these things started happening bout same time and from same area

Ah. Well if the diff isn't turning the Speed sensor gear your in trouble. My trans has developed a whining noise too, but only in 2nd gear. I'm almost sure it's from wear, I like to get on it in 2nd gear. ;)
