Hey I Just saw a bottle of B&M manual transmission fluid. i was wondering if that would be good to put in my transmission. i mean b&m is an awesome brand so i figure the product will be too. also if i do get it 1 is it gonna help me from grinding into second all the time and 2 where the fuck do i pour it? i know where to drain the transmission fluid but i have no idea where to pour it into. i have a 5-speed manual 1996 rs non-turbo 420a motor. what the fuck should i do.

I don't care what anyone says, I will only use the correct Mopar fluid, it has special additives for our trans that generic brands dont. Although it is expensive, it doesnt need changed very often...

I wouldnt put anything but the mopar fluid in my tranny.

Nor would I. Gear oil is very heavy, but the Mopar fluid is 5W30 synthetic with a friction modifier. Don't put in gear oil. And check your other thread for ideas on where to put the fluid.

1. Go to your local Dodge dealer
2. Ask for 2 quarts of NV-T350 Transaxle Lubricant (It WILL say "NV-T350" on it somewhere)
3. Use that.

Don't use ANY other fluid, with the exception of ATF+4. I hear New Venture uses that as a substitute in their newer transaxles, but don't quote me on that.

well where do i pour it? man ive looked up and down on that engine and couldnt not find a flippin thing to pour it in my stepdad was like it should look like a dipstick... only dipstick i found was for my oil. so where the hell is it???? its a 96 eclipse rs.

Sorry to sound stupid.... but I think I'm in need of changing my tranny oil too soon... where can I get this 'mopar' oil?

Did you read it? I mean, it's a month old, and nine posts down. It's original author was... you. Did you fucking read it? There were two solid options presented on where to fill the transmission. Allow me to present a third: take a hammer, and crack open the top of the transmission. I bet that a couple of whacks will give you a good hole through which you can fill it. If you can't figure this out, bring it someplace and have it done. Don't take one of my replacement transmissions out of a junkyard.
